At Sharpening Solutions, we specialise in sharpening high quality hairdressing scissors. We stay true to our roots though, and continue to sharpen blades on all sorts of garden tools, knives and other types of scissor for households and businesses in selected areas around Essex, Kent and Suffolk.

For the garden, we sharpen shears, secateurs, loppers, rotary mower blades, chainsaws, hedge trimmer blades, circular saws, etc. We also sharpen all makes of kitchen knives, from Ikea to Global, serrated, cutlery and penknives. Scissor sharpening is our speciality and passion though, from high end Japanese hairdressing scissors to those used for embroidery, fabric, tailoring, upholstery and dog grooming. We also sharpen clipper blades and have recently added clipper servicing and repair too.
